Step 1: Complete Your Profile

Every organization on WellFunded has a profile funders can browse. Think of it as your universal funding application.

Your profile includes:

  • Mission and program overview
  • CRA-imported financials (plus optional uploads)
  • Leadership bios and contact details
  • Tags and impact areas
  • Optional: videos, reports, or photos

Step 2: Add Your Logo and Team

Visuals help funders connect with your organization quickly and trust what they see.

  • Upload a high-quality logo for your profile
  • Add headshots, names, and roles for your leadership team

Step 3: Add Projects or Opportunities

You can post specific projects or funding needs so funders can understand where their support could go.

Each project includes:

  • A summary and problem statement
  • Timeline and amount
  • SDG alignment and impact goals

Projects appear directly on your profile and are matched to funders using our smart discovery system.

Step 4: Add Tags

Funders search using tags and filters based on what they want to support, like cause area, geography, or leadership type.

To improve your visibility:

  • Use accurate, specific tags
  • Keep your contact and profile information up to date

What Happens When a Funder is Interested?

Funders make a pledge, which is a signal of intent to give. You’ll be notified and can follow up directly to coordinate funding. You stay in control while giving happens through your usual process.
