WellConnect is a new feature inside WellFunded that lets funders post, manage, and award Giving Opportunities—similar to posting a job on LinkedIn, but for grants. It brings clarity, trust, and speed to modern philanthropy.

What is WellConnect? Connecting the Dots with Canada’s Common Grant

We built WellConnect so donors can define who they are, what they care about, and what questions matter, without the endless back-and-forth.

Think of it as your unique lens to filter, set base criteria, and add reusable screening questions. This can be public or invite-only. 

Here’s how it works:

1. Define Your Giving Opportunity:

Choose causes, locations, grant sizes, eligibility, and even characteristics like diversity or revenue tiers. Charities that match your base criteria will be notified to apply with their common grant. 

2. Add your Custom Screening Questions

Add tailored screening questions to help identify the charities that best align with your funding criteria. Add those to your WellConnect Giving Opportunity to filter out which charities are right for you.

3. Choose Visibility: Open or Invite-Only

Let aligned charities apply or privately invite those you already believe in. Charities will send over their Common Grant profile and projects, and answer your unique giving questions. 

4. Award with Confidence

Review submissions, request more information if needed, decline, or award grants—all directly in-platform. Charities can accept instantly. No PDFs, no friction.
